The eight-week programme at the heart of this book takes just 10-20 minutes per day. It is particularly effective for the biggest causes of pain - back problems, arthritis, migraine and diabetes but works equally well for cancer (and its associated chemotherapy), heart disease, fibromyalgia, celiac disease, lupus, chronic fatigue syndrome, IBS, labour pain and even tinnitus. This is an 8 week course based on the best selling book Mindfulness: Mindfulness for Health
Who is the course for? Anyone dealing with and wanting to find way of relieving pain, reducing stress and restoring wellbeing.
*Please note that this course is not for people who are acutely ill, suffer from acute depression or who wish to be passive recipients of support and advice. Nor is it a substitute for professional therapy.
Home Practice: There will be home practice for people to do in between sessions, which takes at least 15 minutes a day and includes short guided meditations and short mindful activities.
Course fee: £245 for the 8 week course which includes a FREE book and Meditation CD. When booking online you will be asked to pay a 50% deposit and the remaining balance will be required 1 week before the course start date.
Pre course reading: Read up to page 55 before the first session. You will also be required to practice some guided meditations in your own time between attendance sessions.
